3/11/2017 Bennett Spring fishing trip by John Bush

Matthew Peet and I went to Bennett Springs yesterday for our monthly fishing out. Most people backed out either due to the cold or illness, but it was a very good day of fishing despite the cold weather.

Both of us caught numerous fish, and had a bunch of rainbows as well as several nice browns.

I caught all of mine except for about 3 on the Top Secret midge, and Matt was catching his on an RS-2.

Small flies were key for yesterday as I think both of us were fishing either a size 18 or 20.
