Whip Finisher Thread Cutter

Just thought I would share with you the thread cutters on two whip finishers I got with some old vises I bought. I do not know who makes them and it looks like there is an M on the cutting tip. Russ and some other club members have told me to grind down the end to a chisel point on your whip finisher , and use that to cut the thread. But I like the way the manufacturer has incorporated the thread cutter. You might be able to put this groove in your whip finisher after you grind it down with a Dermal?
