Hook: #18 – 24
Thread: brown or choice
Optional gills: two strands of white glamour madeira
Body: four layers of thread
Thorax: dubbing to match
Head: thread
Instructions:
Attach thread
Optional: tie in two strands of white glamour madeira with ends over eye for gills
Wrap body with thread
Cut out extra madeira (if used)
Cover hook with four even layers of thread and take thread to thorax area
Create a small dubbing noodle and wrap a dubbing thorax
Whip finish a head
Head cement
Pass a dry fly hackle through the eye to make sure it’s clean
