Materials:
Hook: # 20 – 26 dry fly
Thread: black
Tail: grizzly hackle
Body: thread
Collar: grizzly hackle
Instructions:
Start thread to half of shank
Tie hackle on top of shank with fibers pointing back to bend of hook laying the fivers down along the shank
Lift hackle up and snap off at thread leaving a tail
Spin thread clockwise to cord and rib wrap back to behind eye
Tie in hackle shiny side up and create collar with two wraps or as desired. Tie off
Whip finish or series of half hitches depending on hook size
