Seven of us tied flies for the public at the Springfield Nature Center on 1/28/2017 from 1 – 4 pm. Members participating were Patti Hayes, Dennis Stead, Harry Morgan, Jerry Jester, Larry Wegmann, Bill Huyett, and Bob Randall. MDC personnel reported that at least 65 visitors stopped to interact see our flies and talk about fishing. See photos below. Note: one youngster tied a red hot chili pepper with us and may be expecting his photo below. My apology for somehow losing the photo as I tried to upload from my camera to the computer. Sorry, kid. We had fun tying the fly anyway.
