The Griffith’s Gnat, a dry fly) was created by George Griffith. A small woolly bugger without a tail. On of Harry Morgan’s favorite fly. It seems that this fly represents a lot of different bugs.

A very simple fly to tie. Suggest that you also tie it in a tan or ginger colors. One day at Roaring River, I watched this one fly fisherman catch a trout just about every time he made a cast.
